The main house was beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked with items that could be used for cooking and food preparation. There was plenty of living area for all us to enjoy. All of the bedrooms were good sizes and with a bathroom on each floor, which made things really great. The little cabin was stunning and the second full kitchen made traveling with a large group so much easier. I also found a new love for a sauna and cold plunge. All the extras at the cabin, made it so worth it. The paddle boards, kayaks, cornhole, and movie theater. The theater was well loved while we were there and so was the pond there was someone in it almost the whole time. The hot tub was clean and hot. The fire pit area with all the swings was perfect. It was also fantastic having three washers and dryers available. This was a lovely trip with awesome atmosphere." The movie area was comfortable and so much fun. Not only was the game room a hit for the kids, the stocked board games were a nice touch for the whole gang. Having a master bedroom available with no steps was a nice bonus. We mainly gathered in one house, with plenty of room for shared meals. It was all I had hoped for and more!" The hosts were very communicative and helpful both before an during our trip. There is a wonderful concrete driveway that allowed for lots of parking (we had 4 cars, a van with a trailer, and a truck with a 21’ boat) and still left room for activities/games (water ballon fights, Nerf battles all had lots of room)! The property itself has a great trail system. The trails are on the ‘wild’ side and were a bit challenging for the younger folks (the 3 and 4 year olds), but everyone enjoyed them during our treasure hunt! Do bring bug repellent if you’re venturing to the woods, but the sprinklers in the ponds keep the area around the house mostly mosquito free! That made nights by the fire enjoyable even for those in our group who normally get eaten alive. The ponds hold enough fish to make it interesting even for the adults - our biggest catch was about a 4 pound largemouth bass. They also make a great backdrop to view while relaxing on the decks. Although we didn’t use them, the hot tub, cold plunge and sauna looked well maintained. The indoor areas were good for group activities, with a larger common area upstairs as well as a game room in the basement. Both were hits with the family. Upstairs bedrooms are on the small side, but we were so busy no one spent much time in them! The kitchen is sufficiently supplied with the basic cooking needs. There were nice areas for eating both indoors and outdoors. Having three bathrooms in the main house was great with such a large group. The theater in the barn was a huge hit with the kids - they really enjoyed the experience (supplemented by popcorn and candy, of course!). The property is rural, with shopping being about 20-30 minutes away (aside from a small general store). If you go, don’t miss the local bakeries as well - they were awesome (Kennedy’s and Pure Love)."
